Summit Pipeline Services Ltd. is a construction services based company providing maintenance, rehabilitation and installation of piping and facilities services to the Oil and Gas Transmission industry.

In 2004, a group of First Nations shareholders affiliated with the diverse aboriginal cultures in Canada, became a major shareholder of Summit Pipeline Services. Summit’s development includes a new location in Calgary, Alberta and Fort St. John, British Columbia, with our Head Office in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Our First Nations shareholders have a proficient capability in the logging and construction industry and have progressed in the petroleum energy sectors.

Summit Pipeline Services also developed and implemented a training and apprenticeship program to promote and sustain Aboriginal continuity in all sectors of our organization. Summit Pipeline Services has always been proud of its equal opportunity commitment. Our workforce has always featured First Nations content in both management and field positions. The First Nations role in Summit’s history was an integral factor in the acquisition.
